A KOB101T kit allows to realize a complete two-hand control (2xKOB101T+1xCOM3C). The KOB101T is a button that combines two technologies, optical and capacitive. Three optics detect the approach of the hand over the button. Any attempt to approach from one side or an inconsistent approach will be understood as a fault and will prohibit the activation of the button. Then the contact with the button is detected by the capacitive section. For full activation, the hand must approach the button from above and touch the surface. This solution limits fraud by object intrusion while helping to eliminate hand tendonitis and increase productivity by reducing operator fatigue. A light ring provides a diagnostic to the operator: a fast flashing light indicates a wrong approach or fraud, a steady light indicates that the button has detected both hands and a slow flashing light indicates that an output contact is shorted. Full detection is up to the touch. The contacts are momentary acting with one NO PNP and one NC PNP. Activation of the contacts is achieved if both buttons have been activated within 400ms.
